Action Day: which design for the new Euro notes?
Since the European Central Bank plans to redesign the Euro notes for next year, cafebabel.com is launching an Action Day to find seven images that have more European spirit than fake monuments. We invite all our bloggers to make a proposition on the 1st of February, the day cafebabel.com turns eight.

Which person or monument represents Europe rather than a single nation? Do you think this is illusionary and will only produce jealousy and disputes between countries?
How would you design a new Euro note?
Or do you think it’s not worth being part of the Euro-zone at all?
Discuss!

I think there are enough prominent Europeans among our playwrights, composers and politicians to find a EU wide agreement on who should be displayed on our notes..
Mozart, Rembrandt, Leonardo Da Vinci, Molière, Shakespeare, Brecht, and so many others.....Our notes are so depressing. the colors used are OK, but I think the ECB could find better. firts, the 5 note is too small and the others50,100...500 FAR too big. Reduce their size and create a more coherent series of notes, including a € 1,- note. Then drop the 200 and 500. Hwo the hell is using those notes???? Have a look abroad as for colors and design. Sure the EU can find a great design to...
I think Hitler should be on the note
